Sew a Bento Bag

Make a bento bag from a single piece of fabric — no experience needed!

These versatile little bags are great for farmers market trips, snacks, art supplies, and more. Precut fabric will be provided for you to construct 2 bags, and you are welcome to buy fabric for more in the store.

By the end of class, you'll go home with at least one finished bag, a paper pattern, and instructions to make more on your own.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner (ages 16+)

DATES/TIMES: (this class is offered multiple sessions; pick one)

• Sun, Oct 25 (1-4PM)

(3 hours of total instructional time)

SKILLS YOU WILL LEARN: 

Simple assembly, machine sewing, finishing edges

WHAT TO BRING:

All materials will be provided in class

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Precut fabric, paper pattern, printed sewing instructions

Studio sewing machines are provided. You may bring your own machine if you prefer.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you need to cancel, please contact the studio as soon as possible. Cancellations more than 3 days before the class starts will receive credit towards a future class. Cancellations less than 3 days are non-refundable. Each class must have at least three participants in order to run. Marengo Studio reserves the right to cancel this class if we do not have enough participants (you will be notified of a cancellation at least 48 hours ahead of the class start and may choose a full refund or credit towards a future class).
